If this is the same Bob Rudge that used to hang around The Zombie Zulu bar on Fulton Ave.in the early 1960s,then,Very sorry to see you go friend.He saved my bacon a couple of times there when I was the Mgr/Bartender.Good guy.He would always help when needed.I hadn't seen Bob in over 60 yrs.,but,I always remembered the good guy he was.

Bob was a great guy. We were friends back at South School, before his mother warned him to stay away from me. I always appreciated his honesty and courage when he told me that. She was right. I never forgot him. I'm sad to lose him but I'm happy he had such a great life and a wonderful loving family. Love, Gary

I was on El Dorado Highschools first wrestling team in 1959 and Bob was my first match ever. Needless to say he kicked my butt. But he actually came in to our dressing room before the match to give me some tips cause he knew we were all novices (including our coach).!!!! I believe he and team mate Dave Padilla were both Golden Empire League champions that year. I never forgot him. A great guy and sorry for your loss. Bob was a wonderful guy! Always had a smile on his face and had such a kind heart.
We thank God for all the memories we made together. He will always be in out heart.

Bobby was my big brother, literally. We were 12 years apart in age and had little in common, but I always felt close. He was a very kind man with a calm energy. I loved the glint in his eye and half smile when he witnessed something funny or heart touching. There was a time when I was around 10 that I remember saying I would like to marry Bobby. He was my idea of someone that I would want for a life partner. Katrina was blessed to have him as hers. His children also blessed to have him for their father. Love you Bobby, hope to see you in my dreams and after dreaming has passed. Donna

A darling, loving man. As a boy, Bobby had a buzz cut and the kids at South School in Redondo Beach used to love to rub his head for luck. I asked him in 2009 at our 50th reunion if he remembered this and why we did it. He said, yes he remembered and no, he had no idea why. He then offered to let me rub his head for luck! I love the man Bob became. Thank you for your service Bob! My sincerest condolences to his entire family.
