I share my father's sentiments. Betty like my grandmother, her older sister Esther, was so gracious. I used to love her typewritten letters! When my father and I were touring colleges in Oregon, we stayed with Betty and Joe. When we left early in the morning she made me breakfast and put in a mason jar “to go” so I could get my morning nutrition on the road. My sincere condolences to Betty and Joe's entire family.

Betty, like her sister Esther, was quite a lady. I miss both of them. Betty and Joe were always gracious hosts, whether in Southern California, Arizona, or Oregon. One of my favorite memories was a family gathering in Southern California when we all "sampled" lots of Cold Duck! Thank you, Betty, for your hospitality and friendship!

What a wonderful inspiration to me, always adventurous, supportive, happy to be with all Family members and Friends, computer guru into her 90's. What an example she set for all. Bob W.

My future Mother-in-law may you rest in peace.
