Rosita Piamonte Custodio, 73, of Sacramento, CA passed away on 11/23/2023, Thanksgiving Day, after a long battle with Lewy Body Dementia.

"Rosie" was born on 09/14/1950 to Feliciano Piamonte and Sinforosa Rullamas in Baguio City, Philippines. Her father, a U.S. Navy veteran, encouraged her to follow her 4 older sisters to America so that she could start her career.

Rosie was raised in a Roman Catholic household and was guided by her faith. She worked to acclimate to the expectations of American employment and started a long career.

Rosie enrolled in beauty school, which was a profession she was introduced to when she was a child actress in the Philippines. Afterwards, she became a clerk at a financial company in San Francisco, and then became employed by Pacific Telephone where she spent the majority of her working life until retirement in 2003.

During her retirement, Rosie enjoyed traveling around the world with her best friend, Sherry Stephens. When in town, Rosie took great efforts to host holiday parties for her family, especially Christmas. She loved being a part of all her grandchildren's lives and her gentle compassion, kindness, and generosity will be dearly missed by all her loved ones.

Rosie is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Felicia Quiniola and Marcela Lee, brothers, Felizardo Piamonte and Mariano Piamonte, and grandchild, "AJ" Custodio (Anthony Custodio Jr.).

She is survived by siblings, Marina Ruiz, Loreta Joves (Eusebio), Moises Piamonte (Cristina), Jose Piamonte (Alicia), and Helena Piamonte, children, Anthony Gacutan-Custodio, Regina Quiniola (Sergio), Ronald Custodio (Angela), Ramil Custodio (Nicole), and Roderick Custodio, grandchildren, Alexandra (Leslie), Andrew, Shyann, Alejandro, Angelito, Sarah, Anakin, Natalia, Victoria, Isabella, Josefina, Jacob, Arrianna, Ramil Jr., Roberto, Giovanni, and Delilah.

Celebration of Life: Wednesday, December 27th, 1 pm St. Mary Church with a private reception to follow after the Mass.
