October 6, 1941 - November 29, 2022
Sacramento, California - Ruby Weber passed away quietly at the young age of 81, November 29, surrounded by her husband and friend. She was born in Montana and through her travels, settled in Sacramento. Mom had a great love for horses and cared for many through her lifetime, " . . . because they appreciated the time you took to care for them in warm and cold" (Her poem - Horses don't hibernate - 1997). She also loved riding motorcycles. You may have seen her on Red FXR Harley. Mom was also a loving wife and mother. She was a well known Motorcycle activist, friend to many, mentor, trail-blazer, enthusiast, and freedom fighter, and is respected and admired by those who knew her. Mom is proceeded in death by her son, James B. Miles. and survived by her loving husband Don "Weber", Sibrina [Miles] Queen (Tom), Donald (Sheri), Shirley Hassell, Grandkids Natasha and Sean, and Great-GrandKids Reyna, Miles, and Liam, along with close personal family friends, Schrone Avery and Rich Raynor.
Mom requested a private Internment.

Even though it´s been 20 years since I´ve seen Ruby it brought a smile to see her face. My sympathies to her Family. Ruby did leave an impression on all to meet her. She was beautiful and tough and an inspiration to many. I always respected that she spoke her mind and looked you in the eye when doing it. I feel Lucky to have met her and Don they complimented each other. Hope the Ride up there has no Red lights:)

My Grandma Ruby's smile could light up a room and you could feel her presence anytime she was around. She was a strong woman who knew how to fight for what she believed in and as I have seen on so many comments, was a loved mentor and friend to many people. She touched the lives of many humans, and she cared for and loved many horses over the years as well. My Grandma Ruby is missed greatly by all who knew her, but missed most of all by her family. We love her dearly and always will.
