Sandra Aubuchon Obituary


AUBUCHON, SANDRA L.
52, of Reno, died peacefully at her home on January 10, 2002. She was born October 27, 1949, in Rochester, New York, to Orrin and Sue (Culbertson) Spross. She worked for 27 years for Slakey Brothers, a plumbing wholesaler in Sparks, Nv. Sandy met and married Jim Aubuchon in 1972. Jim brought into the marriage three sons and a daughter (James Aubuchon, Jr., now of Fresno; John Aubuchon, Brian Aubuchon, and Julie Lenz, all now living in Auburn). Sandy and Jim later had a daughter, Lindsey, bringing new joy into their lives. Also surviving are brother Gary Spross of Rancho Cordova; sister Cheryl and husband Gary Hansen of Fair Oaks; and 11 grandchildren Sara, Juanita, Michael, Seth, Hannah, Kadie, Mason, Maggie, Zachary, Wyatt, and Taylie. Her family thanks the Oncology staff at Washoe Medical Center and the Circle of Life Hospice Group for their excellent care. Viewing on Saturday, January 12 from 1-8 p.m., at Walton's Mortuary, 1745 Sullivan Ln., Sparks, Nv. Services on Sunday, January 13, 1:00 p.m., at Walton's with reception to follow (location provided during service). Internment on Monday, January 14, 3:00 p.m., at Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, 2700 N. Virginia St., Reno.
