My Dear Classmate Friend George and Families. I'm so sorry that I didn't know about your Mother's Passing, until Saturday, February 3, 2007 when I saw George and Holly at Gail King's Mother's Memorial Service.
Please accept my belated Condolences and know that all have a special place in my Heart and Prayers.
I only got to know your Mother a short time ago, when I was working at the ARCO Station, for Charles Jacoway. She would go there and fill the Tank herself on her Car and never once asked for help, unless the Pump wasn't operating properly.
I certainly know with all the people in my Life that I've lost, these past several years.
If I can help any of you in any way, please don't hesitate to contact me.
Peace, Blessings, Prayers, Love and Hugs, Steve Groff

I always looked forward to seeing Mrs. Twilling at the Methodist church luncheon and to her Christmas letters every year. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She raised a wonderful family. My deepest sympathy to you all. JoEtta Hash, Sacramento, CA

My thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. I have known you and your parents when all of you were just little kids. I looked forward each year to your Mom's Christmas Letter because she kept us informed of all of you and your families. I am still in shock because I was gone during the week of Christmas but she came to my mind on the way home because I had not received her letter. I feel for you kids and families. Part of my life has been taken from me also. Sorry I can not be there but Indianapolis is so many miles away. I love you and will be thinking of you always.

Vicki and Family,
We are deeply sorry for your loss. Your mother was one of the most gracious and lovely people we've ever known. I know that she will be missed by many!

It was a great pleasure knowing Sylva for what seems like forever. I worked in program development at the Corps of Engrs when she was our secretary and we had "break" together for many years. My mother Nancy Abma & my husband John F. also knew Sylva and John would see her at the breakfast at Mimi's once a month. We'll miss her very much. She was always very much "the lady" and always looked lovely - obviously she took pride in her appearance and it definitely showed. Also, George & I have the same birthday and were born in the same hospital, which I know because as I said, we all (me, mom, & John) used to have break together at work and shared lots of stories. She was a lovely lady and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Thanks for this opportunity to say how special she was, I will not be able to attend the funeral because of a previous engagement that cannot be cancelled, so I wanted to be sure and let you know what a great lady she was. Patrice F.
