Stephanie DUNCAN Obituary

DUNCAN, Stephanie
(Sheehan)
May 23, 1955 to Sept. 29, 2011

Stephanie Duncan passed on early Thursday morning after a long struggle with cancer. During this time, Steph showed all of us how to face affliction with both strength and grace while suffering so much. Up to the very end, she continued to put her family and God first. Stephanie was loved by so many, but especially her husband, Paul; her parents, Timothy and Dorothy Sheehan; her sons Ryan and Tyler; her daughter-in-law Tarah; her most precious grandchildren Sophia, Ava and Graham; her brother Tim; her sister and best friend Kim (who preceded her in death) and her husband Morey; her sister-in-law Sheri and her husband Charles and her niece and nephews Rachele, Morey, Nicholas and Andrew.

We know that Steph is in heaven and is looking out for all of us. We love you Steph and will miss you so much.

The Rosary will be held at the Chapel at East Lawn, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at 5:00PM and a funeral mass will be held at St. Mel's Catholic Church, 4745 Pennsylvania Ave., Fair Oaks, on Monday at 10:00 AM. Graveside at Calvary Cemetery to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society.

Paul, Cindy and I just heard about Steph and we want to send on sincerest sympathy to you, the boys, their wives and the grandchildren. You and Steph should be proud of your accomplishments over the last 40 years together. I can only imagine the impact of losing THE WIFE, and hope you will find comfort from family and friends over the coming months. Take care and we hope to see you soon. George & Cindy

Words can't begin to tell you, Paul,Ryan,Tyler and families how sorry we are for your loss. Connected way back to the "Crocker Days" and right through till the present, great memories and chats, etc. Steph
will always be remembered as such a joy and a real trooper, through
it all. Her suffering is over and she looking down on you with that
great smile of hers. God Bless You, Bob and Karen Moos

My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family. I had her father in High school and I am saddened by your loss. May God be with you and your family at this time.
