Susan and I were two of the five women in the Yale Medical School class of 1965. She was one of the pioneers. I like to think of her as an example for young women coming along.

There were 5 women in the Yale Medical School class of 1965. Susan and I were 2 of those 5. We graduated 4 years later and both went on to busy medical practices. Susan was an unflappable physician in training. After graduating we communicated less and got on with our busy lives. I value those 4 years as we broke new ground. Her patients were very lucky to have her and the profession was enhanced by her presence. May her memory be a blessing.
