Theresa SIDHU Obituary

SIDHU, Theresa H.
Theresa was born May 28, 1929 in Dos Palos, California and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family's love on August 16, 2013 in Sacramento, California. Loving mother of Carol Sidhu, Susan (Rick) Sidhu-Manuel, and Rose Sidhu. Cherished grandmother of Christine Sidhu. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years Louis Sidhu and her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jim Nelson. She was the eldest of sixteen siblings. Theresa will be lovingly remembered as a beautiful and hardworking woman who lived by old-fashioned values which she passionately instilled in her children and grandchild. She was unwavering in her love for her family as well as her teaching the importance of a good education and independence to her girls. Theresa spent her golden years watching her Forty-Niners play ball during football season. In addition, she enjoyed frequent gambling trips to Reno with her husband, Louie, and with her beloved close friends after her loving husband was called home in 2003. Theresa was a beautiful woman, inside and out, who loved beautiful roses and getting dressed in her best no matter the occasion. Theresa will be fondly missed by her children, grandchild, extended family and friends, and her devoted kitty, Missy, as she is welcomed home by her husband, Louis and daughter Barbara. Per Theresa's request, there will be no viewing, memorial or reception.

Sidhu family - May you find comfort in each other and in your memories. I have many fond memories of "Mrs. Sidhu". She taught us to make her famous chicken tacos and was always so cheerful and positive. I am so glad to have seen her on Super Bowl Sunday to share a laugh! She will be remembered always....

My Aunt Terry, I will never forget you...I will always remember our talks and taking you to do your shopping at times and you always made sure you looked nice leaving the house. After our shopping we would have lunch and of course have our drinks before heading home. Thank you Aunt Terry I will always have you in my heart. I will never forget you. I bet you and my dad are having good laughs up in heaven.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Terry was such a kind and beautiful woman. Always calling to wish a kind word on holidays and birthdays. We enjoyed her company immensely the times she spent with our family. We are glad she is at peace and with Louis and Barbara. With love from her godson Steven and Norma Montez and family.

Dear Christine; Rose; Sue; Rick and extended family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of Theresa's passing into eternal life. May the family take comfort in the lovely memories of such a beautiful Mother/Grandma. We will hold close to ours hearts the times that we spent with Theresa, especially at Thunder Valley when she played her favorite slots with such a beautiful smile on her face. Theresa was a winner that day, and she is a winner today, because she has earned God's reward and is in the arms of her savior Jesus Christ. Rest in Peace my Dear Friend Theresa. Peace be with you.
