Thomas Joseph Meehan

Thomas Joseph Meehan, 70, died Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home in Loomis, Calif. following a battle with cancer. He leaves his wife of over seven years, Denise Meehan; his three brothers Bill, Jim and Jerry; his son Mike Meehan; his two daughters Melissa Fuller and Jenny Jordan; his six grandchildren Riley, Rebecca, Audrey, Grace, Madelynn and Katelynn; his two stepchildren, Scotty and Hayley. Tom dedicated an abundance of energy and time to the love and care of his family. Born and raised in Sacramento, the son of Franklin Meehan and Edith Browning, he was a lifelong resident of Northern California. In the early years, Tom graduated from Norte Del Rio High in 1965. He then built a career in the grocery business, where he worked for over 35 years. He was a wonderful, loving father and raised his kids in Fair Oaks, Calif. Eventually, he took to the ranch life in Loomis, where he felt at home and at his very best. Tom was the definition of one that truly had a breathtaking passion for life. A service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 8370 Berg Street, Granite Bay, Calif. A celebration of life will follow at the Blue Goose Event Center, 3550 Taylor Rd., Loomis, Calif.
