Todd Michael Vaughan, 46, passed away in his sleep on January 1, 2017, at his home in Boise, ID. He was born in Carmichael, CA on April 08, 1970, the third son of David and Ruth Vaughan. He was an active boy and enjoyed playing baseball as a youth into his adult years. He attended college at University of Nevada Reno on a baseball scholarship then found a job with UPS that he continued until his death. Todd enjoyed his dogs and sports. It would be rare to see him out and about without team gear on, be it a hat, shirt, or jacket, especially the Boston Red Sox. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing a good game with his friends or with his brothers, unless they had an ocean fishing trip planned. He also had a passion for guns and shooting and enjoyed sharing that knowledge with his friends and family. His dogs were very important to him and he took great pride in caring for them. Todd is survived by his son Haidyn, brothers Alan and Rick, one sister Terri, his father David, and his dogs Fenway and Mattie, as well as numerous friends and extended family. He was preceded in death by his mother Ruth. Todd will be greatly missed by many. His funeral service will be held in Truckee, CA on January 21, 2017 at 11 am at the Truckee Tahoe Mortuary. Final interment will be at the Sierra Mountain Cemetery in Truckee, CA. In lieu of flowers the family would like to ask you to please make a donation to the NRA, AA, or a charity of your choice.
