Verlin Malloy Obituary
March 19, 1929 - June 20, 2021
Citrus Heights, California - Verlin Phillip Malloy age 92 passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday June 20th , 2021.
He was preceeded in death by wife Geraldine Malloy, daughter Verna Mitchell, son Ralph Malloy and son Joe Malloy. He is survived by his loving devoted wife Phyllis Malan Malloy, daughter Verla Malloy, son Kenneth (Linda) Malloy, son Phillip Lansford, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren.
Verlin was born in Butte, Montana and proudly served in the United States Navy. After he was Honorably discharged, he did own and operate his own service station in Ogden, Utah. Before he took a job as a civilian mechanic for the United States Air Force which ended up bringing him to California. After retirement, Verlin enjoyed traveling with his wife in their RV, fishing, visiting with family and doing crossword puzzles. Above all else Verlin loved, cherished and valued his family.
Funeral Service will be held at Pioneer Baptist Church on Monday, June 28, 2021 viewing starts at 10:00am, service immediately following at 11:00am. After service Verlin will be laid to rest at East Lawn Sierra Hills Memorial Park, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento 95841 with the United States Navy Honor Guard. Those who knew Verlin will remember him as loving, caring and very generous, always willing to lend a hand. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to Pioneer Baptist Church.
