Vonda Mellott Obituary
Born in Des Moines, Iowa, to missionary parents, Vonda devoted 38 years to teaching at Capital Christian Elementary School, where she shared the joy of learning and the love of Jesus with generations of students. Her radiant smile, gentle spirit, and unwavering faith touched countless lives.
She is survived by her husband Carl, sons Chris (Maria) and Michael (Ashley), grandchildren Yelitza, Viana, Violet, Presley, Callen, and Emma, and brother Terry Isbill (Nancy).
Her greatest joy was being "Grammy," and her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at River City Church in Rancho Cordova on Thursday, October 30th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to River City's Christmas Mall Fund.

Mrs. Mellott was a blessing to our family as she taught our son in kindergarten at Capital Christian School. She is remembered fondly. Our condolences to her family. May her memory be blessed.
