Our beloved Wanda passed away on January 29, 2014 after a short illness at the age of 83. She was born on March 22, 1930 in Oakland, California to Stanley William Cumming and Rose Blanche (Lassiat). She grew up in Yuba City, California while spending many summers in Sierra County at the family homestead, Lucky Hill Mine. She graduated from Yuba City high school in l948. She attended Yuba College for one year, then moved to Sacramento where she worked in the Sacramento City School District. She married the love of her life, Leon S. Tomlinson, on September 21, 1953. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Leon S. Tomlinson; her daughter Jan Alldrin and her husband Ken, their children Kristina, Jennifer and her husband Kelly; her son Alan Tomlinson and his wife Tracey, and their son Russell.

Wanda worked for Bank of America for 20 years. She then went on to teach Banking at the Regional Occupational training center for young adults.

She enjoyed snow skiing, water-skiing and camping along the Mendocino coast with her family. She was also an avid hiker, enjoying Yosemite and the High Sierras as a young woman. She and Leon traveled to South America, England and Ireland. What Wanda loved most was spending time with her family. In her later years, she was an avid walker; enjoying many walks to the Sailor Bar Park in Fair Oaks.

Wanda loved her family unconditionally, and we shall always be remembered by her bright blue eyes and warm smile, 'We live as long as we are remembered.' She will be forever in our hearts as the most loving and kind woman you would ever meet. She was cared for during her final weeks by her family and close friends. The love and support she received allowed many friends and family to visit her, as she fought to keep the leukemia at bay. The Lord needed another angel and she was called upon. A private celebration of life will be held.
