To the Cook Family,
I went to school with Deane.Although I didn't know him that well I remember him a happy person. I regret not being able to attend the 30th reunion and being able to see the Class of '77 with Deane there. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this most difficult time.

I, too was a classmate of Deane's, though we really didn't know each other. I moved to Napa and missed out on getting to know him. My heart goes out to his entire family. I wish you the best. Leslie (Uran) Odle

My thoughts and prayers go out to Deane's family and friends. I went to school with him and remember him as a very caring person with a great sense of humor. I know he will be greatly missed.

I pray the Lord bless and keep you thru this time of loss. I too am a graduate of 1977. My husband only briefly met him at the re-union but could see a real connection we all have in the class of `77`. I`m really glad we had a chance to connect again. Love in Christ, Betty Cram (Pellegri)

My heart goes out to all of you, at this very diffucult time. I graduated, from Willits High, with the class of "79". Deane was always there for everyone, with open arms, and a huge hug. I guess God just needed another good angel, to watch over ya'll. Many hugs to all of the Cook family. Brenda Konopasek-Gibbs

Dear Karen, Merlyne, and family,
I was so saddened to learn of Deane's passing. My brother Keith had a very close-knit group of friends in school and Deane was a core member of that group. He was a very special friend to our family and no doubt to countless others. Some of my earliest and happiest memories are of going to my brother's football and basketball games and Deane hanging me upside down (to my sheer delight). I thought the world of him and still do. He was a wonderful, warm, lovable person who will be sorely missed. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences in this difficult time. May your memories, faith, and the love of friends and family see you through this. With love and sympathy, Megan Schiessl Keltner

To the Cook Family, we would like to express our deepest sympathy to the whole family. Deane was a great guy and loved by many. My first memory of him was when he played on my dad's little league team, the Pirates and I'll never forget his mom cheering for him! Pick your one! Pick one out and park it son! That is something I have said for years after that! (lots of great memories!) He was in Carl's class, and they were always good friends. Carl was fortunate enough to see him in October and have a few laughs. Deane, you will be missed! Carl & Janie (Harris) Newby

Dearest Cook Family;
I am a member of Class of 77 and was extremely sad to learn of your/our loss. I went to school with Deane throughout the years and valued him as a person and friend. Though as adults, contacts are easily lost, it was a pleasure seeing and visiting with Deane at our 30th reunion.
I wish you all the very best and hope that you can find peace.
