William Counselman Obituary
November 19, 1926 - December 12, 2021
Citrus Heights, California - William Counselman peacefully passed away on December 12, 2021 at the age of 95. He was born in Coffeeville, Alabama and graduated from Murphy High School. He served in the US Navy during WWII for over three years.
He met and married Mary Batinovich in 1946. They moved to Mobile, Alabama where he worked as a boilermaker until beginning his career as a cataloguer/supervisor at Brookley AFB. When the base closed, the family moved to Sacramento where William worked at McClellan AFB. William enjoyed playing golf, any card game and woodworking. He was devoted to his church, serving as a Sunday School teacher and a deacon.
He is survived by his children Jeanine, Bill, Ralph and Mike Counselman, his grandchildren Gabriel and Alma Counselman and Taunya Bisordi, and his great grandchildren Kameron and Lucca Bisordi. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on December 22, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Fair Oaks at 4401 San Juan Ave, Fair Oaks, Ca with burial after the service at East Lawn Cemetery, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento.

Grandpa, you are loved & will be missed here. You always made me feel loved and your smile was so big when it came to your grandkids and great grandchildren. Thank you for helping me when I needed it most. You had a generous heart and I'm thankful for the time we had. All my love, always.
