William Kolbe Obituary

KOLBE, William Lee July 10, 1943 - April 9, 2014 Bill Kolbe passed away a year ago, April 9, 2014, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving children. Bill was best known as an inspiring professor of psychology at CSU Sacramento from 1976-1985. He delighted his students with every lecture, challenging them to think outside the box. His innovative ideas and wonderful sense of humor captivated his students and had them craving for more. He was not your typical professor by any means. His passion for reading developed into a passion for writing. He completed 60 action packed political novels that kept the reader mesmerized. Bill was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force for 6 years in the 1960's at Travis Air Force Base. He was married to Mary Sue Kolbe and they share a son Kevin, his wife Felicia and granddaughter Sophia. His second wife Jennifer Kolbe share Brittany, Chad and Mariah. Thank you Bill for giving me the best kids a mother could ever ask for. You were an amazing man, adored your children, had endless patience for plot-deprived children's movies, and are missed by all. "Up in the air feet, over a chair feet... left foot, left foot, right foot, right." Dr. Seuss.
