Carolyn Stuart Obituary
She was born Nov. 10, 1925.
She was a member of the Otto Fire Company Auxiliary, Home Bureau, Cattaraugus Area Historical Society and Cattaraugus Travel Club, and was curator of Otto's Medora Ball Historic Museum.
She was the loving wife of the late Paul G. Stuart.
She was the cherished mother of Owen P. (Karen) Stuart, Dolores S. Powell and Norma Jeanne (late Gary) Andrews; grandmother of James Powell, Michele Trammell and Nicole and Erica Stuart; great-grandmother of five; and sister of Dewey Dankert and Yvonne Gabel. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Edith Dankert; and a sister, Josephine Salisbury.
Relatives and friends may visit DiStasio-Hills Funeral Chapel, 55 S. Main St., Cattaraugus, from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with a service to follow at 11 a.m. Tuesday (March 29, 2016). Interment will be in East Hill Cemetery, Otto.
