Lynn Stuve Obituary
Born Dec. 21, 1955, in Olean, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Jones McClain. She was married Aug. 27, 1988, in Great Valley, to John M. Stuve, who survives.
She was a graduate of Salamanca High School, Class of 1974, and earned her nursing degree from the St. Francis School of Practical Nursing, Olean, in 1975.
Lynn had been employed as a licensed practical nurse with The Pines, Olean, for over 35 years, retiring in 2008.
She enjoyed the outdoors and volunteered with the Scouts, teaching first aid to the kids. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, crocheting and cross-stitch and played women's softball. During high school, Lynn excelled in rifle team competitions.
Surviving besides her husband are two grandchildren, Gracie Tait and Bailey Tait.
She was predeceased by her son, Daniel R. Tait Jr., and her brother, Keith "Hack" McClain.
There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced. Burial will be in Green Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.

Lynn was my sister-in-law. She was a wonderful woman, with a fantastic sense of humor and a kind heart. My late mother loved her and Lynn returned that love in spades with a deep respect that I always appreciated. Lynn can rest in peace and I know she is with her son Danny, brother Keith, my parents, and all her loved ones who went ahead to make her a place. Love you Lynn
