I am a step sister to Nancy, Mikes wife.
Patricia Murphy is my mother. I will always cherish the memories of the times that Nancy and Mike made my family feel at home while visiting with them at the lake. God has gained an angel, and I know we will all see him again someday. I'm sorry for the pain loosing a loved one brings to families and I am hoping for peace to be with this lovely family during the holidays and the days and years to come.

Mike,
I'll never forget listening to your band, beer in hand. Of course the prettiest girl in Cattaraugus was a groupie! You truly made the world a better place. Congrats on a great family and friends.

A memory just came to me about Mike that I'd like to share. I hope it can bring a smile as it did to me. My Grandpa Schultz used to be a policeman in Little Valley. They called him Sharkey and he was well-known for catching Speeders that we're going through town. Anyway Mike told how one night Grandpa nailed them and I believe he was almost out of towm. Well Mike quickly came up with the excuse that he hoped would get him out of a certain speeding ticket. He relayed to Sharkey that his girlfriend had been in a terrible car accident and he was rushing to be by her side. Well, Grandpa did have a soft spot in his heart and he let Mike go with just a warning. I had to laugh when Mike told about it cuz he seemed quite pleased to have put something over on Sharkey.

I am so very, very sorry. There are hardly any words that I can say at this time. I will remember all the happy times that we all had together in years gone by. So many of them are flashing through my mind as I write this. May these happy memories bring you some respite from your pain. May God bless you at this time of your lose. Love to all of you.
