Paul Pigeon Obituary
Born Jan. 28, 1951, in Salamanca, N.Y., he was the son of the late Lester J. and Almeda J. Pierce White Pigeon. He was married Jan. 1, 1970, to the late Jeanne White Pigeon, who was called to the Lord before him on March 23, 2018.
He was a graduate of Kofa High School in Yuma, Ariz., and attended Arizona Western College for architecture.
Paul had been employed with Paradise Casino in Winterhaven for 16 years prior to his retirement. Previously, he had been employed with Ralston Purina in New York for five years and Lakey Bros. in Yuma for 20 years.
He was a member of The Quechan Church of the Nazarene, where he was treasurer.
Surviving are a son, Paul White Pigeon Jr.; three daughters, Rosalinda White Pigeon, Jennifer White Pigeon and Alicia Guzman; eight grandchildren, Raquel San Miguel, Paul San Miguel, Gina Rivera, Layla White Pigeon, Nivea Valenzuela, Handsome Guzman, Alejandro Guzman and Azaylia Guzman; two brothers, Phillip White Pigeon and Lester White Pigeon Jr.; two sisters, Jeanette Groat and Marian White Pigeon; and many cousins and relatives.
He was predeceased by a brother, Owen White Pigeon; two sisters, Martha Nauni and Esther White Pigeon; and three nephews, Matthew White Pigeon, Lesten White Pigeon and Joshua White Pigeon.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday (March 1, 2021) in the Jimersontown Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Marvin Abrams officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Heights Cemetery, Salamanca.
Pallbearers are Norman Nauni, Anthony Nauni, Adam Groat, Edward Groat, Handsome Guzman, Justin Owens and Andy Owens.
Honorary are Phillip White Pigeon, Lester White Pigeon Jr., Russell Groat, Paul Douglas, White Pigeon, Hector Guzman and Larry Robbins.
Local funeral arrangements are under the direction of the O'Rourke & O'Rourke Inc. Funeral Home, 25 River St., Salamanca.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. I graduated with Paul from Kofa
High School in 1969. I am so glad he was able to attend our 50th Class Reunion back in October of 2019 with his daughter. He will be missed not only by his family but also by his fellow class mates and friends. God Bless You Paul and Rest in Peace.
