Alice Fulcher

Alice Jenkins Fulcher, 96, passed away Monday, June 1, 2015, at Genesis Healthcare, where she had been a resident. Born Sept. 10, 1918, in Bethlehem, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Ray Napolean and Ora Oviel Patrick Jenkins. Mrs. Fulcher had been a homemaker and was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church in China Grove. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Henry Fulcher, in 1991,\; and a son, Reggie Fulcher. Family members left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Bennie Fulcher and wife Pat of Salisbury and Steve Fulcher and wife Beverly of Kannapolis; her daughters, Annette Eudy and husband Rick of Mt. Pleasant and Dianne Pope of Atlanta, Ga.; her grandchildren, Brian Fulcher (Christy), Lisa, Renee and Trisha Fulcher, Michelle Richardson, Al “Redd' Cottle and Tameka “Tiny” Harris; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Arrangements: The family will receive friends Thursday, June 4 from 10-11 a.m. at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home in China Grove. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
