I had the pleasure of working with Barry at Fieldcrest many years ago. I believe it was about the time that you, Joy and Barry were married. His smile never changed. God gives us the gift of putting his angels in our presence here on earth. By no means, am I saying that Barry was perfect, for we all fall short of God's expectations, but I do believe there are those we know that truly live as close to perfect as we can and Barry was one of the good guys. From messages that have been left, I can see that he didn't deter from that persona. My heartfelt sympathy and sorrow are with you and your family at this time.

Joy, Anna and Madison...you don't fully realize it yet...the impact Barry made on so many lives. His absence will be felt for years to come. The four of you as a family were a great influence to many as well. 'As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord'...that is what you all did. A beautiful example for all to follow. I know you all have wonderful happy memories with Barry. I pray that those memories will cause the grief to fade away soon. Barry would be upset with all of us for being so sad. With that said, I will begin to hold my head up with a hugh smile on my face just for him...as he always did. God bless you and keep you in His comforting arms.

I remember Barry from Landis Church of God(before Highest Praise was built). I truly enjoyed singing in the choir under his leadership and singing in one of the Praise Groups. God had truly blessed Barry with a gift of Music and Leadership. I hadn't seen Barry in years until we were at a mutual friends funeral and after we sat and talked for awhile. He was truly a friend to many. I enjoyed our talk that day. Many will miss his smile, friendship and his God given musical talents. I trust that God's precious Holy Spirit will comfort Joy, Madison and Anna and all the family during this time of sorrow. May God always be with you all. Christian love and prayers!

Where do I even begin? Barry you were not just a friend, you were more. I am blessed to have known someone with such integrity, compassion, talent, and the list could go on forever. You have touched my life in so many ways, more than I could even count. You and your family showed me love, gave me encouragement, but most of all covered my family in prayer. We as a family would not be where we are today without those prayers. Your family has taught mine what a family truly is. One of a close circle of love and support for one another. My family has been richly blessed with you and yours in our lives.
We know your pain is now gone and no more sleepless nights, only perfect peace. Don't worry....we will watch over your family and support them through this and give them whatever they may need.
You are always in our hearts and will always be in my song! Love you more!
