Christopher McCombs Obituary
SALISBURY - Christopher "Ghost" McCombs, age 42, of 929 Richard St., passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at his residence.
Born Sept. 4, 1966, he was the the son of Jennie Hinson McCombs and the late John McCombs, Sr. He was a 1984 graduate of Salisbury High School and was last employed by Universal Forest Products.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher McCombs, Jr.
He leaves to cherish fond memories his mother, Jennie H. McCombs of the home; daughters Nicole Bennett of Winston-Salem and Iesha Parker of Salisbury; sisters Joyce McCombs and Sandra McCombs both of Salisbury; brothers John "Butch" (Deborah) McCombs, Jr., and Frank (Marilyn) McCombs both of Salisbury and Andre (Deborah) McCombs of Hickory; maternal grandmother Leola Nivens of Salisbury; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Public Viewing: Sunday, Oct. 19 from 2-7 p.m. at Mitchell & Fair Funeral Service.
Visitation and Funeral: Monday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. at Mitchell & Fair Funeral Service with visitation at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends all other times at the home.
Interment: Oakwood Cemetery
