I am so proud to have worked with Chrystal and had the privilege to have also taking care of her mother. She was one of the first nurses on the original night shift crew at Rowan when I first stepped into nursing. Boy did she help the nights fly by and share SO many laughs. She was always smiling and talking about her family. She adored her daughters and grandkids! One of the last memories I had was finding out that I was pregnant with my last child and she had to tell me a funny story about how women found out they were pregnant back in the day. She shared with me that rabbits were injected with the urine of the woman being tested and if the rabbit died you were pregnant. I will NEVER forget the laugh we got out of that story!!! Love you Chrystal, rest in peace.

It still doesn't seem possible that horrible disease could have taken you so quickly. I know you are now without pain, and are cancer free. I know we will meet in a big family reunion in Heaven one day. Until then, I will remember happier days. I miss you and will always love you.
