Danny Parr Obituary
CHARLOTTE - Danny Parr, 56, of Charlotte, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. A loving father, grandfather, brother and son, he will be remembered but never forgotten.
Mr. Parr proudly served his country as a Marine in the Vietnam War.
Mr. Parr is survived by his daughters, Misty Rogers and Mandy Parr, both of Charlotte, and their mother, Debbie Parr; sons Shawn and Chris Byrd; his mother, Bonnie Parr of Salisbury; brother Tom Parr of Charlotte; and special cousin Phyl Eudy of Salisbury.
Danny was preceded in death by his father, John M. Parr of Statesville.
Visitation: A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Weddington Chapel, 3700 Forest Lawn East, Matthews.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to The Charlotte Rescue Mission-Rebound, 907 W. First St., Charlotte NC 28202.
Arrangements for the Parr family are in the care of Heritage Funeral Home Weddington Chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.heritagefuneral.net.
