Darrell Wise Obituary

Darrell Hardie Wise TRINITY - Darrell Hardie Wise, 55, of 3671 Saddlebrook Drive, died Sunday, March 12, 2006, at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. Born May 1, 1950, in Davidson County, Mr. Wise was a son of Bennie Lee Wise and Sarah Mason Brewer Wise Reddeck. A graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in civil engineering, h e was employed by North Carolina Department of Transportation. Mr. Wise was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and Salisbury Masonic Lodge. He was married Sept. 11, 1993, to Loretta Davidson Wise, who survives. Other survivors include son Benjamin Hardie Wise of the home; half sisters Nancy Robinette and husband Chris of Greensboro and Betty Martin of Salisbury; and sister and brother-in-law Kay and Jim Farris of St. Helen, Mich. Service : A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Michael Hoffmann officiating. Interment will be at Floral Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation : The family will be at J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 6-8 tonight. At other times, they will be at the home. Memorials : American Diabetes Association, North Carolina Affiliate, 1820 E. Seventh St., Charlotte, NC 28204. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.

Even though I hadnot seen Darrell in a while he will always have a place in my heart! I considered him a very special,and unique person! His smile,and wonderful personality will be greatly missed,and most of all his trademark saying" We'll figure it out will always remain a memory in my heart! What a wonderful world we would have if the world had more Darrell Wises' in it! I am truly blessed by God too have had Darrell as a friend,and former co-worker!

We are so sorry to hear about Darrells death. I was not aware he was in bad health. We have been so busy trying to make a living that I was not keeping in touch with Darrell on a regular basis. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and Ben.
