Debby Gaskey Poole Mesiemore, 59, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, Feb. 1, 2016, at the Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. She was born Nov. 18, 1956, in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Robert Eugene Gaskey and Jean Nance Gaskey. She was a 1975 graduate of South Rowan High School. Debby worked for 27 years at Cannon Mills and later was employed by Gentiva Home Health. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Linda Gaskey Watson and grandson Mason Daniel Poole. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, James Ronald Mesiemore of Woodleaf; sons Justin Poole (Chrissie) of Salisbury and Jesse Poole (Alicia) of China Grove; step-son Andy Mesiemore (Kim) of Brown Summit; stepdaughter Nichol Walters of Greensboro; grandchildren Ryley and Tucker Poole of Salisbury, Kaden Poole of China Grove, Bridget and Harley Mesiemore of Brown Summit, Luke Nelson and Rachel Walters, both of Greensboro; special friend Lena Crook-Sellers of Granite Quarry; pets Tigger, Fluffy and Gypsy. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 at Rowan Memorial Park Chapel in the Pines with the Rev. Mike Duncan officiating. Memorials: Glenn A.
