Debra Ann Cuthbertson

Debra Ann Cuthbertson, 71, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday,

December 3, 2025. She was born on August 20, 1954, to the late Wyatt

Cuthbertson Sr. and the late Rosetta Cowan Cuthbertson. Debra was a

lifelong member of Blessed Assurance Church, where she enjoyed

worship and fellowship with her church family.

For 30 years, Debra worked faithfully at the vocational workshop. She

was known for her gentle smile, her pleasant spirit, and the kindness she

showed to everyone around her. As her health began to decline, she

retired and spent her days doing the things she loved--working puzzles,

coloring, and enjoying quiet moments with family.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Wyatt Jr., John, Paul, and Jerry

Cuthbertson; sisters, Martha Rolland and Maude Jones; sisters-in-law

Geraldine, Cora Bell, and Norma Ruth Cuthbertson; and brother-in-law

Bennie Powell.

Debra leaves to cherish her memory her brothers Arthur, James and

William Cuthbertson; her sisters, Mary McConeyhead, Libby Blackwell

(David), and Rosetta Powell; brother-in-law, Jimmy Jones; sisters-in-law

Brenda Cuthbertson and Leila Cuthbertson; and a host of nieces,

nephews, and church family who will hold her close in their hearts.

Debra was a quiet light in the lives of those who loved her. Her memory

will remain a blessing to all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Funeral service, Thursday, December 11, 2025, with visitation at 11 a.m., followed by service 11:30 a.m., Cedar Grove A.M.E. Zion Church, Cleveland, NC. Interment in the church cemetery. Funeral service entrusted to Carroll-Waters Funerals & Cremations.
