Della Morgan Obituary
She was born September 4, 1933 in Davidson County, NC to the late Leon and Flossie Hartley Lambe.
Della was a homemaker and she loved sitting on her porch in the summer and playing with her granddog Andy.
In addition to her parents, Della was preceded in death by her Husband, James “ Ford” Carr Morgan whom she married July 1, 1953.
Della is survived by her Daughter, Pam (Wayne) Vellines of Salisbury, NC; granddaughter Janice (Tommy) Goodman. great grandsons Justin (Gracie) Goodman and Tyler (Jade) Goodman, her sister Peggy Nail and brother Tommy Lambe, both of Mocksville, NC and also by many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special Thanks to her caregivers for their around the clock care, Teresa Norman, Sara Jarvis, Georgia Lynch, Shelia Lloyd, Trish Christy, Paula Wyatt, Lisa Threatt and Bobbie Butler.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Friday, April 4, 2025, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2025, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC, conducted by Mitch Sewell.
Burial will take place in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to The Humane Society of Rowan County, 112 West Innes Street, Salisbury, NC 28144, or to Jerusalem Baptist Church, 3203 US Hwy 601, Mocksville, NC 27028.

I´m so sad to read this about Ms Della Morgan. She was ALWAYS a very sweet and kind person. I have lived in Granite Commons for almost 18 years and I always remember seeing her sitting on her porch watching traffic go by. I would always blow my horn and wave at her. You will truly be missed. Heaven definitely gained an Angel.
