Dewey Ketner Obituary

Mr. Dewey Max Ketner, 77, passed away Friday, April 29, 2016, at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis. Mr. Ketner was born Dec. 30, 1938, in Kannapolis. He was the son of the late Walter Ray Ketner and Ruth Smith Ketner. He worked for Concord Telephone Company as a digital switching supervisor. Mr. Ketner is survived by his wife of 57 years Betty Ketner; daughter, Crystal Clifton of Matthews; and grandson, Peyton Clifton. Service: A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m., Monday, May 2, at Lady's Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Edward Scott will officiate. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 - 10:45 a.m., Monday at Lady's Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, memorial may be sent to Hospice & Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081. Remembrances may be sent to the family at www.ladysfuneralhome.com. Lady's Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family of Mr. Ketner.
