Dylan O'Brien Obituary
He was born April 3, 1991 in Mecklenburg County, NC his parents Frank O'Brien and Dawn Holder.
He was a graduate of East Rowan and attened Rowan Cabarrus Community College.
Dylan worked for Gilden as a Packing Line Technician for 3 and a half years and Rowan Helping Ministries for 2 years.
He enjoyed fishing, running, video games, water sports, snow skiing and basketball. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends.
Dylan lived life to the fullest, he always had a smile on his face. He was so kind and caring. He would help anyone he could. He is and was loved by so many, especially his family and friends. Dylan will truly be missed by anyone who ever knew him. He is gone to soon.
In addition to his father Frank O'Brien (Tammy Moose) and his mother, Dawn Holder, his Brothers, Frank O'Brien, III, Alex O'Brien and Ricky Whitley.
Also left to cherish his memory is his best friend, Matthew Weaver.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC, with Pastor Lucas Safrit officiating.
Burial will take place in the Brookhill Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to Rowan Helping Ministries, 226 N. Long Street, Salisbury, NC 28144.
