Gregory Pulliam Obituary
MOCKSVILLE - Gregory Lee Pulliam, age 54, of Highway 601 South, passed Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston-Salem.
Born Feb. 12, 1957, in Rowan County, he was a son of Lillian Cowan Pulliam of Mocksville and the late Harvey Lee Pulliam. A graduate of Davie County High School, Mocksville, he also attended Livingstone College and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mr. Pulliam was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Salisbury.
He was preceded in death by his father Harvey Lee Pulliam; and brother Kim Allison Pulliam.
He is survived by his mother, Lillian Cowan Pulliam of the home; devoted companion Nellie Jones of the home; brothers Harvey James (Terrie) Pulliam, Spencer, Eugene Pulliam, Otisville, N.Y., Shannon (Robin) Pulliam, Mocksville; sisters Venesa (Robert) Reese, Salisbury, Machelle Pulliam, Mocksville, Tammy (Mikael) Jones, Mocksville; special cousin Cathy C. Alexander, Salisbury; and a host of aunts, uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation: 12 Noon Saturday in the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel of Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc. in Salisbury.
Funeral: 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel. The Rev. Olen Bruner will officiate and Pastor Timothy Bates serve as Eulogist.
Burial: 1 p.m. Monday at the National Cemetery on Statesville Boulevard with Military Rites.
