Judy Livengood

Judy Steele Livengood, 76, of Salisbury, passed away Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022 at Lexington Memorial Hospital in Lexington. She was born Dec. 4, 1945 in Salisbury, to the late James Steele and Catherine Fisher Steele. Judy was a devoted homemaker staying home to raise her daughter and care for her family. She took pride in being very independent but family was most important to her. Judy always helped out when ever and how ever she could to make things easier on someone else. She loved meeting new people and making them laugh. Judy enjoyed trips to Florida to visit her daughter and grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby Wayne Steele and David Allen Steele; sister, Sharon Elizabeth Steele; and granddaughter, Jaiden Steele Clouse. Judy is survived by her daughter, Kelli Clouse of Thomasville; brother, James Lee (Debra) Steele of Gold Hill; and grandson, River Ashton Clouse. Visitation: The family will greet friends and relatives on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2-2:45 p.m., at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC. Service: The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 8, in the Powles Staton Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Ingram officiating.
