June York

June Baggett York, 71, of Salisbury passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Genesis Healthcare. She was born Sept. 22, 1945 in Clinton, S.C., to the late Ruth Moates Cooper and the late Cole Cooper. June was a Registered Nurse and worked in all areas of nursing. She was passionate about her job and her patients. In addition to her parents, Ruth and Cole Cooper, she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Baggett. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Kim Bringle (Chase) of Salisbury, Jenny Kiser (Chad) of Mount Ulla; brothers: Chuck Cooper of Salisbury, Jack Cooper (Marcie) of Asheboro, David Cooper (Carolyn) of Salisbury; sister, Mary Hatch (Mike) of Utah; grandchildren: Amber (Nick) Basgall, Ashley (Garrett) Brewer, Andrew Sells, Alicia Hall, Benjamin Kiser and Isabelle Bringle; and great-granddaughter, Keely Brewer. June was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed.
