Keith Garver Obituary

Keith Monroe Garver CHINA GROVE - Keith Monroe Garver, 45, of 2710 Millbridge Rd., China Grove, entered the gates of heaven on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 after eight weeks of serious illness and a lengthy battle with cancer. Keith was born in Rowan Co. on February 2, 1940 to Hoyle Stephen and Virginia Deal Garver of China Grove. He was a 1978 graduate of South Rowan High School and a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church. A machinist with Mid-State Machine Co., he loved fishing, auto racing and riding horses. In addition to his parents, survivors include brother Steven M. Garver and wife Jan, of China Grove; sister Sharon G. Hodges and husband Slade of China Grove; nieces Amanda and Samantha Garver, Stephanie Cline, April Hodges, Brandi and Lindsey Shue; nephews Eric Cline, Easton and Ian Shue; and wife, Elizabeth "Libby " Shue Garver of Kannapolis. Visitation will be Thursday 7-9 p.m. at Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove. Service will be 4 p.m. Friday at Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Joseph Tallent, pastor. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church 750 Mt. Moriah Church Rd., China Grove, NC 28023 or Rowan Regional Home Health & Hospice, 825A W. Henderson St., Salisbury, NC 28144. Linn-Honeycutt Funeral Home, China Grove, is serving the Garver family.
