Kenneth Edward Ken Kluttz

Kenneth Edward “Ken” Kluttz, 83 of Salisbury passed away Sunday, October 18, 2015 at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Ken was born on November 9, 1931 in Rowan county son of the late Gaither Brown Kluttz and Edna Fay Artz Kluttz. Ken was educated in the China Grove Schools and Granite Quarry High School. He had worked for City Motor Company, was a Nascar Driver and the former owner operator of Ken Kluttz Grading. Mr. Kluttz attended Grace Bible Church, was a member of the Salisbury Moose Lodge, enjoyed fishing at the coast and loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother June Kluttz. He is survived by his wife, Sue Leazer Kluttz who he married on February 7, 1953; children, Connie Kluttz Rowland , Ronnie E. Kluttz and wife, Sherry, K. Wayne Kluttz and wife Stacey, Debra Kluttz Miller and husband, Albert all of Salisbury; Brother, Jimmy Kluttz of Salisbury; sister, Edith Deal of Georgia; grandchildren, Paula Gobbel and husband, Jamie; Shawn Yost and wife, Miah; Nicole Matthews and husband, Mark; Kendall Kluttz and wife, Robin; Amanda Delcruz and husband, Jeremy; Chris Miller, Kenneth Miller, Clay Kluttz, and Natalie Kluttz; great grandchildren, Hayden Yost, Gannon Yost, Lauren Jordan and husband, Travis, Meagan Wilder, Max Matthews, Jaxon Matthews, McCall Kluttz, Max Kluttz. Lindsey Miller, Lauren Miller, Angelina Miller and Abbie Miller. Services: : The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Tuesday at Powles Staton Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 8:00 PM in The Powles Staton Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Shoaf, pastor of Nazareth Community Church.
