Larry Goodman Obituary
He was born August 16, 1937 in Rowan County, NC to the late Leo and Clara Rimer Goodman.
Larry retired as a Conductor for Norfolk Southern. He also taught Real Estate classes at Rowan Cabarrus Community College as well as Continuing Education classes for Real Estate agents.
He was a member of Neel Road Baptist Church were he was a greeter and head of Security.
Larry enjoyed baseball and Nascar Racing. He loved working in his yard and spending time with his family.
Larry is survived by his Wife Rachel Moore Goodman , whom he married May 08, 1958 ; Son, Larry Douglas Goodman and also by his Sister, Doris Ludwick.
The graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026, in the Rowan Memorial Park, Salisbury, NC, conducted by Rev. Mark Anders.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Neel Road Baptist Church, 135 Neel Road, Salisbury, NC 28147.
