Larry Ray Macy

Larry Ray Macy, 80, of China Grove entered his heavenly home on November 13, 2025.

Mr. Macy was born on April 11, 1945. He was the son of Walter Ray Macy and Dorothy

Morgan Macy.

Mr. Macy retired from Prudential Insurance Company with more than 25 years of

service. He owned and operated Larry Macy Insurance in downtown China Grove. He

loved helping people and never met a stranger. Through the years, he served many

area clients with life, health, and auto insurance.

Mr. Macy was a provider and a giver. He participated in many charitable organizations in

the community, including Landis Lions Club, China Grove Civitan Club, Salisbury Moose

Lodge, Eureka Masonic Lodge in China Grove, Rowan Shrine Club, and Oasis Shrine

Temple. He was a member of Oak Grove Methodist Church. He sponsored a Little

League baseball team, the Larry Macy Braves, on which many kids in the community

played over the years.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 62 years, Felecia Johnson Macy, two

daughters, Debbie Macy Mills (Kenny) of China Grove, Julie Macy Soto (Jose) of

Cornelius, son Michael Ray Macy (Anita) of China Grove, and one granddaughter,

Brenlee Morgan Stewart of Cornelius.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Minnie Jean Macy,

and his beloved dog, Daisy.

Per his request, no funeral services are planned.
