Mr. Mackenzie “Mack” Jemel McMillon, 35, passed away Sunday, Feb. 6, 2022. Born Feb. 27, 1986 in East Spencer, he was the son of Deloris E. Foxx and Earl A. McMillon. Educated in the public schools of Rowan County, he was a graduate of North Rowan High School, Class of 2004 where he played football and was on the track team. He also was a member of the Rowan Express AAU Track and Field Club from 1999-2004. Mackenzie received his Bachelor's Degree from Saint Augustine College in 2009 where was on the track team. A member of Southern City Tabernacle AME Zion Church in East Spencer, he sang on the Jr. Choir and served on the Usher Board. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Howard Edwin Foxx, Sr., and Essie Mae Kiser Foxx; paternal grandfather, David McMillon, Jr.; maternal great-grandparents, Elease Kiser, and Zelma Wilson Foxx; paternal great-grandparents, Maudie and Woodrow Gaddy; aunts, Doris Foxx, and Sharron Foxx. Those left to cherish his memories are his mother, Deloris E. Foxx of Salisbury; father, Earl A. Arrangements: Public Walk-Thru on Sunday, Feb. 13, from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. at the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel, Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service on Monday, Feb. 14 at 12 p.m., First Calvary Baptist Church and it will be livestreamed at nobleandkelsey.com. Interment will follow at City Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev.
