Max Alan Morefield

Max Alan Morefield, 73, of Salisbury, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his home in Salisbury. He was born February 27, 1948 in Rowan County to the late Leo Frank Morefield and Gladys Setzer Kreiser. Max worked as an Electrician for Goodman&Son Construction. He was a member of Providence Methodist Church. He was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Navy and a lifetime member of the Rockwell Amvets Post 845. Max enjoyed fishing, wood carving and he loved his dog Puckie. He loved seeing it snow and enjoyed trips to the beach. In addition to his parents, Max was preceded in death by his Brother, Steve Morefield, Sister, Fay Wyatt and his brother in law John Wyatt. Max is survived by his Wife Sis Morefield , whom he married June 28, 1975 ; Daughter, Tanya (Kasheif) Vereen; Two Sons, Gabe Morefield, Marshall Morefield; Sister, Becky (Bob) Bost; five Grandsons, Lucas Wyatt, Broderick, Future, Serani , London Vereen ; one Granddaughter, Laci Wyatt; Best Friends, Randy (Sue) Goodman; As well as numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements: The family will greet friends and relatives on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Powles Staton Funeral Home, Rockwell, NC. Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be sent to the family to help with funeral expenses.
