Patrick Lipscomb Obituary

With faith in God's perfect plan, we celebrate the life and legacy of Mr. Patrick Orlando Lipscomb, 61, of Salisbury, who peacefully entered into eternal rest on February 10, 2025. Born January 10, 1964, in Rowan County, he was the beloved son of Lemuel Brady and the late Cylista McNeely Brady. Patrick was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Faith Abel Lipscomb, and a faithful member of Sills Creek AME Zion Church. His journey on earth was filled with warmth, laughter, and an unshakable faith in the Heavenly Father.

Patrick was educated in the Rowan County School System and graduated from Salisbury High School in 1982. He dedicated his career to Carolina Color Corporation in batching, where his strong work ethic and kind spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Patrick embraced life with joy and a big heart. He found happiness in grilling for family and friends, watching western movies, and spending time enjoying a good show. When football season arrived, there was no mistaking his loyalty to the Dallas Cowboys--a passion that could light up any room. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and love, making every moment shared with him truly special.

Though his earthly journey has ended, Patrick's spirit lives on through those he loved most. He leaves behind cherished memories with his children: Demario Peoples (Alecia), LaToya Abel, and Portland Sharpe (Christopher), all of Salisbury; grandchildren: Justin Brown, Alani Allen, Christian Sharpe, A'Zaryah Peoples, Demario Peoples, and A'Laysia Peoples; brother, Rev. Raymondo Brady (Dr. Menika) of Concord; sister-in-law, Sandra Abel; brother-in-law, Thomas Abel, Jr.; aunt, Myra Cuthbertson; uncle, Harry McNeely; and a host of loving relatives and dear friends who will forever hold his kindness and love in their hearts.

While we miss Patrick's presence, we take comfort in knowing that he is at peace, resting in the arms of the Lord. His laughter will echo in our memories, his love will live in our hearts, and his spirit will shine brightly as a guiding light for us all.

Arrangements:Public Walk Thru Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 3-5pm at the funeral home. Services will be Thursday, February 20, 2025 with Visitation at 1:00pm and Funeral at 2:00pm in the A.R.
