Randy Borders Obituary
SALISBURY - Mr. Randy Borders, 56, of Goodnight Road, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at his residence.
Born Oct. 21, 1958, in Iredell County to the late Ervin Borders and Annie Lucille Everhart Borders, Mr. Borders was educated in the public schools of Rowan County and was last employed with Dillard's.
He was preceded in death by brothers Clarence Borders and Connell Borders.
He leaves precious and loving memories to his wife, Linda Litaker Borders of the home; sons Randore Borders (Yajo Dahankuan), Salisbury, Shannon Borders (Jasmine Thompson), Salisbury; brother Howard Borders, Salisbury; sisters Joyce Houpe, China Grove, Sylvia (Norva) Boler, Salisbury, Lackey Borders, Salisbury, Annie Mae Borders, Salisbury, Alice Hosch, Salisbury; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements: Services will take place Sunday, Feb. 22, at the A.R. Kelsey Memorial Chapel of Noble and Kelsey Funeral Home, Inc. with Visitation at 2 p.m. and Funeral at 3 p.m. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Rev. Reginald McConneaughey, officiating.

Oh how I'm going to miss Randy. He was such a joy to talk to and see everyday at work. He was a nice man and would give to me if I needed something. I am going to miss my friend and smelling that good ole food he brought to work daily! He is resting in the arms of God and until we meet again...R.I.P

I am thankful for the opportunity to have known such a great man and to call him my friend i spoke to him daily as we use the microwave at lunch and when he wasn't there Wednesday reality hit me and my heart became heavy i am going to miss him so much, such a comedian. Rest in peace Randy

There are not enough words in the dictionary to bring comfort to his family during this loss. This man is missed by so many of his work family. I still continue to look for him and his smile every time I pass his department. His family should know that he was held in high regard at Dillard's. God bless
