Ruby Kluttz Kluttz, 90, of Salisbury, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, ending her struggle of declining health surrounded by family.
She was born July 25, 1935 in Salisbury, NC to the late William and Lenora Kluttz. Ruby worked at Cannon Mills/Fieldcrest Cannon for 40 plus years. She loved the Lord, her family, and church family. Ruby was a member of Organ Lutheran Church. She spent most of her free time gardening and fishing with her husband, Jimmy. Ruby was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and loved spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James C. Kluttz, son, Ricky A. Goodman, sisters, Ethel Roseman and Kat McDonald; and brothers, Max Kluttz and Johnny Kluttz.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Connie Barringer of Salisbury, Tammy Goodman and Terry Leavitt of Rockwell; son-in-law, Kim Barringer of Salisbury; sister, Susie Page; brother, Bobby Kluttz; grandsons, Nickalaus Goodman, Chad Barringer and wife Erin; granddaughters, Melissa Kelly and husband Brian, and Melanie Goodman; great-grandsons, Brayden Kelly and Bennett Barringer; great-granddaughters, Mila Kelly and Blakely Barringer; step-children, Benny J. Kluttz, Lynn Ramsey and husband Gary, Lisa Earnhardt and their families.
The family will greet friends and relatives on Sunday, November 16, 2025, 1:30 pm - 2:15 pm in the Organ Lutheran Church Parlor, Salisbury, NC.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, November 16, 2025, in the Organ Lutheran Church with Rev. Tonya Brittain, officiating.
Burial will follow in Organ Lutheran Church Cemetery.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Autumn Care, Trellis Hospice, and Rev. Tonya Brittain for their compassionate care and kindness provided during this time.
