Ruby Mault

Ruby Dean Bradshaw Mault, age 88, of China Grove, died Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Glenn A. Kiser Hospice House in Salisbury, after a period of declining health. Ruby was born Oct. 19, 1934 in Rowan Co., the daughter of the late Rupert W. and Mae Nance Bradshaw. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Bradshaw and Bill Bradshaw. Ruby was a graduate of China Grove High School class of 1953 and a member of Corriher Heights Baptist Church in Landis. Ruby worked for 20 years at Norman's of Salisbury. After retiring, she worked with her husband, Bobby, at Mault Brothers Service Station in China Grove. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 69 years, Bobby Mault of the home; her daughter, Cindy M. Stevenson (Robert) of China Grove; her son, Jeff Mault (Pam) of Washington; her grandchildren, Josh Stevenson (Christina) of Sterling, Va., Matt Stevenson (Emily) of Julian; her great-granddaughter, Avery Stevenson; along with many nieces and nephews. Arrangements: A funeral service to celebrate Ruby's life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 18 at Corriher Heights Baptist Church in Landis, with Pastor Jeremy Collins officiating. Private burial will follow. Her family will receive friends at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday prior to her funeral. Online condolences may be left at www.whitleysfuneralhome.com.
