Boogerwoods is the highlight of my son, Chase's year. He talks about it year round and looks forward to being a part of the trail every year. Scott had a way of making him feel welcomed, appreciated, and important even though Chase was younger than most of the other volunteers. Chase really liked him. When we'd see his truck in the WalMart parking lot he'd always pick it out and say, "Hey, Scott's here." And look around for him. Scott's kind and gentle heart made an impression on both Chase and I. And he is missed by us both.

Dear Trexler Family,

Words cannot express how sorry I am for your loss. Scott and I traveled many miles together; whether it was on our motorcycles or in our trucks on our way to another truck show. Scott was among many that I considered as a friend, but was one of the few that I could truly reply on and trust. He always had a knack for making me laugh and was more than willing to help out anytime I needed it. My thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family as Scott will be missed by many.
