Wayne Ruff Obituary
SALISBURY - Wayne Jackson Ruff, 42, of Salisbury, passed away Monday, April 13, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 30, 1966, in Canada, he was the son of Frances Shue Marksbury of Morehead City and the late Carrol Ruff. A graduate of South Rowan High School, Class of 1984, he was a veteran of the United States Navy.
A truck driver, he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a brother, Roy Basinger of Rockwell; sisters Shelia Basinger of Gold Hill, Cindy Allen (Walter) of Morehead City; nephew Danny Ruff; and niece Daphne Piercy.
Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 16 at Lyerly Funeral Home.
Graveside Service: 12 Noon Friday, April 17 at Salisbury National Cemetery with the Chaplain Thomas P. Clements officiating. Military honors will be conducted by Rowan County Veterans Honor Guard.

my deepest sympathies go out to wayne's family. wayne was best and dearest friend. i loved him dearly. wayne and i had so many great memories. i am sure he is with casey now and having a great time. god now has a great truck driver. i will never foreget wayne. i carry him in my heart now and always. love always kelly
