Albert Oscar Peterson Jr.
Albert Oscar Peterson Jr. 1920 ~ 2005 Albert Oscar Peterson Jr., age 84, passed away at his home, July 4, 2005. He was born August 1, 1920, in Lehi, Utah to Albert Oscar Peterson Sr. and Lucy Wilson. On June 15, 1940 he married Irene Ora Mace, they later divorced and on January 2, 1976 he married Nettie Lavon Pitt. Albert was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was active in scouting and was an Eagle Scout. He worked for the U.S. Forest Service for many years, as well as working in lumber and manufacturing of pre-fabricated homes. He was also a foster grandparent for the Salt Lake City Foster Grandparent Program. Albert is survived by his sons, William "Bill" A. (Irene) Peterson of Manti, Utah; Mark R (Mary Ann) Peterson of Evanston, Wyoming; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grand-children. He was preceded in death by three great-grandchildren; brothers, Vinton Peterson and Jack L. Peterson; and sister, Geraldine Peterson. Graveside services will be held at the Francis Cemetery on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at Crandall Funeral Home in Kamas.
