Alis and I met at Parkside Elementary when her boys went there. When I moved to McMillan Elementary I had the honor of working with her and getting to know her. She was always upbeat, kind, cared for her students and friends. She was willing to go the extra mile for everyone. She made the BEST crackers that just melted in your mouth and it was always a request for her to make them when we had a faculty dinner. We remained friends on FB and when I saw that she had passed I was stunned and sad. My sympathies to her family. These are a few of the photos I have of her from working together.

This saddens me to the core. I've known Alice since early days at St. Vincent's School. I think we met in the 4th grade and we were instant friends. She always made me laugh and had the biggest heart. She will be truly missed. Rest in Peace my friend. I love you.
