Alisa Gassman Olson Obituary

1976 ~ 2012
Alisa Valere Gassman Olson, Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister, and Friend, lived her life completely faithful to all the titles she so willing fully and lovingly embraced. Alisa was born to John R. and Merrilin Robinson Gassman in 1976. She passed away March 6, 2012 peacefully in her home. She enjoyed being able to express her love to her Husband, Children, Parents, Siblings, and friends. We were blessed to feel her love and be associated with her. Today, she is probably clogging in the streets of Heaven as her long battle with brain cancer has finally lost its power against her. She was an incredible inspiration of love, patience, persistence, mental fortitude and charity. She was known for her laughter, innocence, and crying for those who sometimes didn't know to cry for themselves. She is sealed to her husband, Brandon.
She is survived by her husband (Ephraim), her three beautiful children, Cortlan, Megan, and Brooklyn, her parents, and four siblings, Kelly, Britton, Scott and John E.
Donations can be made in lieu of flowers for a scholarship fund at Zions Bank in the name of Alisa Olson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Ephraim Stake Center (400 E. Center St). Friends may call, Sunday from 6 - 8 and Monday from 9 - 10:30 at the Ephraim Stake Center.
Interment in the Ephraim Cemetery.

I am Rebecca Hills Skolmoski's mother. She was a room mate down at Snow College with Alisa. I met Alisa and her mother on our first day at the college dorm. What a fantastic young woman she was. She was so full of life and we still remember the "Swedish Fish" story. We loved that Alisa could laugh at herself. It was a privilege to get to meet her. I wish to convey to you my deepest sympathies and pray the Lord will comfort you at this time in your great loss.
